Terms of service
Last updated August 27, 2026. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
The service
PortSweep.io lets you configure authorized external port scans of IPv4 addresses or CIDR ranges of /20 or smaller and view resulting reports. During development access is complimentary and may change.
Authorization
You represent that you own each submitted target or have authorization from the owner to scan it. You will not use PortSweep to probe third-party networks, to violate law, or to violate a cloud or ISP acceptable-use policy. We may suspend schedules or accounts if we reasonably believe a target is unauthorized or after an abuse report.
No warranty on completeness
Reports reflect what the scan node observed with the configured nmap flags. Filtered ports, rate limiting, and targets that drop traffic can hide listeners. PortSweep is not a guarantee of security, compliance, or the absence of vulnerabilities.
Accounts
You are responsible for login credentials and for activity under your customer record. Questions about the service go through the contact form.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Earnest Software Engineering is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or damages arising from unauthorized targets you submitted. The service is provided as-is during development.
Governing details and disputes: contact Earnest Software Engineering via the PortSweep.io contact form or earnestware.com.
